After a very long but stressful weekend, I finally dragged myself to the hospital.
Friday evening I passed out and may or may not of had a seizure. I felt fine afterwards so I thought nothing of it and continued about my night onto dinner with family at Red Lobster. Went home, got sleep, once again woke up feeling fine.
So again, I went about my day and went to our routine starbucks night with friends and family. When we got home, it dawned on me that while I was still feeling fine myself, I hadn't felt any movement whatsoever out of my son, Kaiden. After attempting one last time to get him active, I was taken into labor and delivery for monitoring.
The smiles came as soon as the nurse found my son's heart beat. Such a precious sound. They monitored to make sure I wasn't contracting and discharged me with comfort knowing I felt fine myself and that baby was alive.
I am definitely investing in a heart doppler for home to ease my mind in scary times.
